Sally Hemings: An American Scandal (2000)

Originally named "The Memoirs of Sally Hemings", this TV film is an interpretation of the historical relationship between President Thomas Jefferson and his slave Sally Hemings. Although no one knows for sure, this version suggests that there was love involved, and that they had a long-term relationship that resulted in children. Diahann Carroll portrays Betty Hemings, the mother of Sally.
